The new Town Hall is organized around an architectural promenade.
A small plaza defines the entrance to the building. The public space is maximized through a stepped seating area and an elevated pilotis where the outdoor café is located.
The Town Hall's departments and services are organized in a sequence of spaces inside the building. The architectural promenade unfolds around three internal patios where the main public activities are located. A sequence of ramps begins from the entrance hall, continues through the café-bar and finally leads to a roof garden.
The building shell is wood-cladded as a reference to the local tradition of "peladas", the wooden lagoon houses of Missolonghi.
